Year Two (First Part)

Year Two moved to Saturday teatime, against the BBC's Dr Who for the first 7 weeks. Strong Dr Who ratings forced a move to a Thursdays children's slot. Seventeen episodes were shown in 1976 (while the series was still being made). The remaining seven episodes were still in post-production, so they were finally shown in summer 1977.

The remaining seven episodes of Year Two were still in post-production when the first run completed. Five were finally shown on Thursday evenings in summer 1977, immediately after the Year One repeats. For Year 2 on ATV, this was the first and only "prime-time" slot where adults were likely to be watching.
