Scottish Television (STV) was the ITV franchise in central Scotland, covering the major cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. It began showing Year One in 1975 with the same schedule as ATV Midlands, but showed different episodes after Christmas (Missing Link's world premiere was on STV).

A repeat of Year 1 appears on Saturdays in summer 1977, bouncing around the Saturday morning timetable until shifting to Saturday teatime.

Year 2 first appeared on Saturday mornings in September 1977, for a short 3 episode run. It would re-appear in April 1978 on Sunday afternoon, running through the summer until the start of September.

The repeats were dropped on 3 December.
At the end of 1978 a new episode appeared, and after the Christmas and New Year break a number of Year 2 episodes were shown in 1979. The original episodes were finished in January and repeats started with One Moment Of Humanity on 28 January 1979.
There were several gaps (no episodes 4 February, 4 March, 18 March 13 May). Oddly The Dorcons appears twice, at the start and end of the run.
